Welcome to the 26th annual St.Barth Music Festival!
We're back! Last year's 25th anniversary was very special, and now we're back for more -- new and improved!
Whether you're a long-time audience member or a first time visitor, we look forward to providing you with wonderful experiences of exceptional quality. For example, during Opera Night this year our Maestro Mercurio will lead our all-star orchestra and a quartet of singers who are truly world-class.
We provide nothing but the best of the best for our Music Festival audiences!
And something special each and ever year is our long-running Outreach Program for all of the children of the island, as music education for every student on St Barth is a cornerstone of the Festival. The teachers across the island are to be especially commended, as many of them carefully prepare their students for the arrival of the Festival performers, who visit all of the schools. The children are taught about instruments, composers, composition, and how to listen and enjoy what they hear. That’s music appreciation at its finest!
Beyond the school visits, we also invite the island teachers to bring their students to orchestra and opera rehearsals so that they can learn to appreciate the work involved with music making. It’s tremendously heartwarming that every year the children are excited to absorb and learn and make music a part of their lives
Finally, and so very importantly, we thank EVERYONE involved with making this Festival possible, including the President, the Commune, the members of the association, the inspired performers who participate so enthusiastically, and YOU, our audience of friends. Your financial and overall support are VITAL and if you would like to work more directly with us in specific ways, we encourage you to speak with the Committee members who welcome you to each performance.
